.The process of ordering an existing design or commissioning a fully bespoke piece begins with an appointment to talk over your commission and take measurements.

The length of the process will vary depending on the nature of the garment we create for you. When commissioning bespoke tailoring and evening wear, the process usually takes 4 to 6 months with a minimum of two fittings.

For more elaborate garments and bridal gowns the design and making process can take longer.

Bespoke and made-to-measure pieces are designed and made in our Cheshire Street atelier. Alexander’s designs are made to the highest standards, finished using time honoured hand-sewing techniques.

Examples of fine fashion like those pictured are on display in our studio. All models can be made up in your size to order and some are available to purchase.

Commissions begin at £1000.00 for simple/small items. However, most commissions tend to sit above four thousand pounds.
